OMG! We are getting so close now. I just got out of some pre-op testing and have the time of my surgery. So Monday, January 18th at 7:30am I am having Gastric Bypass surgery. I will be at Wincester Hospital in Winchester, MA and I am FREAKING OUT! More on all of this later.
Please send all of your prayers, healing energy and happy healthy thoughts my way.

Hi Linz. The buildup before the surgery can be very difficult and very stressful. I don't know what would be worse-being surrounded by food you love and knowing you can't have a bite, or wondering what's going to happen with this life changing surgery. You'll be great honey. You've got a wonderful support group, and look a little further down the line to the results you've been dreaming about. It'll be worthwhile. You can do this.
Hi Linz. Usually, before a surgery you will get a really awesome "mellow you WAY out" dose of anti-anxiety meds that are better than sex (not pushing drugs here) just want you to know that there is some relief from the anxiety beforehand... =)
